Riondo Amerone dela Valpolicella. A classic example of this big Italian wine from Veneto. Made from fermented, sun-dried Corvina grapes and aged in oak for 24 months. Juicy black cherries, plums and prunes with toasty notes and hints of vanilla. A real treat.
Zuccardi Apelacion Cabernet Franc. A wonderful winemaker. High altitude and cooler night temperatures allow this wonderful grape to ripen steadily retaining fruit characteristics and acidity. A lovely balanced wine with black fruit flavours and floral notes. Very classy.
Banshee Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon. Classic Californian Cabernet. Dark fruits, Cassis, Plums rounded by oak giving spice and vanilla tones. A well balanced wine.
M Chapoutier Les Gadilles Rasteau. Highly rated, this Cru Rhône wine is grown in the foothills of Provence’s Mont Ventoux. Powerful dark fruit notes of raspberry and blackcurrant. A classic taste of Southern Rhône.
Esporao Organic Red Reserva. A fantastic wine producer with vineyards across Portugal. This wine is made in the Alentejo region. A blend of native Portuguese grapes plus a little Cabernet Sauvignon are fermented separately, blended and aged in oak for 12 months. Black fruits, nutty and black pepper notes provide a rich and complex wine with a long finish.
